
Dr. Manashita Borah

Our lab (Control System Design and Simulation Lab) is currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic Ph. D. scholars (Vacant seat for the next academic year 2021 -2022: 4). Offered area of research are: Control systems, chaos, smart energy, IoT and waste water treatment. Interested candidates can apply through TUEE 2020.​

Dr. Manashita Borah, a Young Engineer's awardee 2018 and Young Scientist Awardee 2019 from Govt. of Assam, joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tezpur University in 2016. Her Ph.D is on Design, control, synchronisation and applications of fractional-order chaotic systems, from NIT Silchar. She has been teaching the subjects of Electrical Technology (EL202), Advanced Control System Engineering (EE305), Utilisation and Conservation of Electrical Energy (EE309), Electrical Machines II (EE302), Industrial Drives and Control (EE409) and Control System Engineering (EL304) to the branches of Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics and Communication Engineering students. Apart from being conferred with prestigious awards and having publications in reputed journals, she has been actively associated with various departmental, academic and co-curricular activities of the university, such as dance, drama, yoga, etc.
